Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a happy holiday season :)

Spending time with my baby has been the best time of my life so far. I am so thankful that I have been able to take 12+ weeks of maternity leave.

I have been wanting to get back to work for a little while now, but having a newborn requires round the clock care..and my little girl Doesn't like to sleep during the day! It's alot more work than I thought it would be.

I realized that working from home with a young baby is not as easy as I thought it would be.. people who work outside the home can drop their baby off at daycare or have someone else watch them, but when you work from home you have to do your job while simultaneously taking care of your child - it's actually harder I think to try to do both jobs at once, rather than just one job at a time. So I'm trying to figure out a way that I can do both and it might take me some time to get it right.

So my plan for now is to start doing just monograms at first, because those are pre-made designs that I can give to people pretty quickly. But first I need to go through the huge amount of e-mails I have received.. there are Hundreds, so if I don't get back to you, I apologize in advance.

I hope to have my website up soon but I am going to sloowly start responding to emails first, with priority to customers I have already worked with in the past.

If you've read this far, thank you, and best wishes for the new year, 2010!!
