Ask Pink!

Q: Hi, I purchased monograms from you about 5-6 months ago and would like to make some changes. Is that possible?

A: I only keep monogram designs for up to 2 months to save space on my computer. Any changes needed after this time will need to be purchased as a new monogram(s) since I no longer have the original files on my computer.

I would love to be able to redo them for free but due to time contraints with how busy I am, I just don't have the time to re-create new monograms free of charge. I'm very sorry!!

Hi everyone,

I am back from my weekend getaway and have received over 80 business related e-mails in less than 48 hours since I signed off on Friday night! It's almost a little out-of-control, so please be patient as I take the time to respond to everyone who contacts me as well as working on existing and new orders. I am receiving everyone's e-mails, so no worries on that end!

I'm trying hard not to have to raise my prices again, so in order to keep the same prices, it's just going to take me longer to respond to everyone.

As a sidenote, I am still not taking any business logo orders at this time, nor can I take any rush orders, just because I can't put anybody in front of someone else who has been waiting.

Taxes Done & Email Update

I am back from our tax appt, what a relief that's over!

I have been running about a day behind on all of my e-mails, and that was prior to being gone for half a day today. I respond to my e-mails in order of receipt and work on orders in order of receipt, just know that I am always working and if there is delay it's only because of the amount of orders that I have!

How to insert and resize your monograms in Microsoft Word

This is a question I get asked frequently, so I thought I'd post the directions here on my blog.

To paste an image into Microsoft Word or Powerpoint:

Go to Insert --> Picture --> From File. Then select the image from where you saved it on your computer.

Once the image is inserted into your document, you can resize it by right-clicking on the image and selecting Format Picture --> Layout --> Behind Text OR In Front of Text (either will work). This will give you grab bars on the image and you can resize as needed!
