Q: I have a monogram graphic from somewhere else that I'd like you to add our names to. Is that possible?

A: Unfortunately copyright law prevents me from using someone else's graphic for a new design, unless they've given me written permission to use their graphic. In order to use another graphic, I'll need to know where it came from and what the copyright permissions are. Thank you!

Q: Found your bio on the knot and I love love love basically EVERYTHING about your wedding! We have the same color scheme, so I’m looking at a lot of your stuff for ideas- they are great!

Anyway, where did you order your return address stamp? The one with the large B in the square? I love it!

Q: I love your candy buffet sign. Did you just print at home? Where did you buy your paper for the sign?



A: Hi and thank you for the compliment! I bought a stack of pink metallic paper on paperandmore.com that I used for my paper projects throughout my wedding. I then printed the sign on my cheapie, home ink-jet printer. This was before I bought my new color laserjet, and it still looked great!

PS - I dressed up the sign with a discount wood frame I purchased from TJ Maxx!

Q: Hi, I purchased monograms from you about 5-6 months ago and would like to make some changes. Is that possible?

A: I only keep monogram designs for up to 2 months to save space on my computer. Any changes needed after this time will need to be purchased as a new monogram(s) since I no longer have the original files on my computer.

I would love to be able to redo them for free but due to time contraints with how busy I am, I just don't have the time to re-create new monograms free of charge. I'm very sorry!!

Q: WOW! Your wedding stuff is awesome. How did you make your programs?

A: I designed and printed them at home, folded them in half, put them inside a folded cover page, punched holes on the side, and tied ribbon through!

My "Lia" Dress - Ask Pink!

Q: Is your Melissa Sweet Lia dress still for sale? Can the hem be taken down? I'm 5'8".

A: My wedding dress is already sold. I'm sorry!

As a sidenote to other brides, I listed my dress on preownedweddingdresses.com and sold it fairly quickly. I also had my dress cleaned and preserved prior to sale by affordablepreservation.com and they did a superb job at making my dress look brand new. I was very impressed and it was well worth the money.

Q: I was wondering if I purchased a monogram would I be able to have it blown up at kinkos or somewhere like that in order to use it on my aisle runner that I am making? not really sure how this works. Thanks.

A: Yes, you can have the monogram blown up at Kinko's or painted on an aisle runner. You can pretty much do anything you want with it! Let me know if you have any additional questions!

New Blog Feature: Ask Pink!

Hi everyone!

I sometimes receive emails from people just asking for advice on monogram etiquette, paper recommendations, printing instructions for how I did my wedding envelopes, etc.

I am always happy to help people out, so I decided to start an "Ask Pink" column where I will feature a random question that I receive and my answer! The first question that I'm featuring is actually one of two e-mail's that I received this morning:

Q: I have a random etiquette question for monograms. My fiance and I both have names that start with "M" and we want to use that throughout the wedding. Is it confusing if we just use a single "M" since that is not his last name? (His last name starts with an "H") I'm thinking of trying to do something with M&M instead? What do you think?

A: Hi Michelle!

I think it will be confusing if you just have one M, because one initial traditionally indicates the last name. If you don't want to use the H, then I like your idea of going with an M&M theme.
